Facebook is looking for an Operations Analyst to join our Global Sales Learning (GSL) Strategy & Operations team. The Global Sales Learning team supports sales teams across the Global Marketing Solutions organization at Facebook. In the position, you will play an integral part in driving efficient and streamlined operations, advancing our use of learning technologies and measuring learning impact.You will be responsible for day-to-day administration of the learning management system (LMS) and related technologies to serve Global Marketing Solutions' learning needs. You'll partner with other GSL members to design and launch training deliverables, including job aids, eLearnings and instructor-led sessions. You'll manage data collection and analysis to create reports and dashboards on learner progress and program impact. You'll also play a key role in the continual improvement of GSL's programs through best practice use of technology and evaluation strategies. You'll help develop the roadmap for our future learning ecosystem so that we can scale and innovate to support Facebook's growth.This position is full-time based in Menlo Park or New York.


  • Lead the day-to-day and ongoing operation, maintenance, and administration of the learning management system and the content within it
  • Develop, document and maintain standards and processes related to the learning management system and other technologies
  • Manage inbound requests in a consultative and time-efficient manner aligned to overall GSL goals and strategy
  • Identify, troubleshoot and resolve problems with course design, LMS configuration, data management, and reporting
  • Empower other GSL team members to capitalize on GSL technology platforms by providing them with relevant training and resources
  • Support the development and maintenance of a measurement and reporting strategy that focuses the GSL team on the optimal set of metrics for driving business impact and managing the ongoing operations of the GSL function
  • Apply sound data collection and analysis techniques to develop and maintain high-quality reporting tools and visual dashboards
  • Develop close ongoing partnerships with relevant stakeholders outside of GSL (people Insights team, learning engineering team) who can keep us up-to-date on the latest issues and opportunities relevant to our technology and measurement capabilities
  • Organize tasks in a highly efficient manner using relevant workflow management techniques (e.g., Sprint), and create visibility into the status of those tasks for stakeholders

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience in a business operations, analytics or administrative role
  • 1+ years experience using SQL and Tableau
  • Experience with Excel, data collection, analysis, and reporting
  • Problem-solving and issue-resolution skills, specifically around technology and data
  • Experience in project management methodology and execution
  • Experience with learning data and technology standards and concepts
  • Experience identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems
  • Experience working cross-functionally and reconciling priorities across teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Interest in emerging trends in learning technology and analytics, inside and outside of Facebook
  • Sales and or digital marketing background as context for understanding specific sales or business needs and appropriate learning experiences
  • Experience with Facebook's family of products and services
  • Experience working with or in support of diverse communities
