Oculus is seeking a talented, highly motivated and experienced individual to join the Business Development & Partnerships team. The team at Oculus is a small, agile team looking for people who are passionate about Virtual Reality, deals and business strategy. We love "athletes" with backgrounds in mobile, content acquisition, platform, and growth. You will be required to handle multiple projects across a new industry and effectively negotiate terms that benefit our products and our users. This position offers a unique opportunity to leverage your strong understanding of the intersection between the Internet, high-tech and media industries to structure innovative and impactful partnerships. Responsibilities

  • Take the lead to identify, evaluate, negotiate and manage strategic partnerships that enable valuable user experiences in VR and support the strategic objectives of Oculus on a global basis
  • Work cross-functionally with engineering and product teams to finalize partnership opportunities
  • Represent Oculus in meetings with executives from other companies

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of business development experience in the Internet, media and high-tech industries
  • Strategic and capable of structuring and negotiating agreements, including experience with legal aspects of negotiation
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams to orchestrate and complete deals
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, always-on, highly ambiguous start-up environment
  • History at high level negotiations
  • Technical experience
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to develop working relationships inside and outside Oculus
  • Resourceful, detail-oriented and highly organized
  • Communication skills
  • Ability to meet multiple objectives in an entrepreneurial environment with little supervision
