Media and Video are growing rapidly at Facebook. The Product Marketing team is responsible for global go-to-market for product lines across the Facebook family of brands. Our end customers are thousands of publishing partners and billions of consumers. The intense growth Facebook overall has experienced, coupled with the rapid expansion of scope and responsibilities for Product Marketing, has created opportunities for strategic and operational improvements along key business areas. As part of the Media & Video PMM team, the Marketing Operations Lead will be responsible for developing and refining our launch process, coalescing and coordinating product lines across Facebook that affect media partners, establishing protocols for cross-functional internal partnership, driving strategic alignment around timing and impact, assuring readiness for launches, managing team budget and operations, and communicating across the company. This role may also eventually expand responsibility to include campaign management.We seek an experienced Marketing Operations Lead who is passionate about business operations and planning. The successful candidate must have strong experience managing business operations, strategic planning, financial oversight, resource management, and logistics in a fast-paced technology company. He or she must thrive with cross-functional teams and exhibit excellent organizational, communication and analytic skills. This role is currently an individual contributor, with future potential to manage a team.This is a full-time position based at Facebook headquarters in Menlo Park.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and refining Facebook's cross-functional launch process for Media and Video products
  • Coalescing and documenting launches and changes that impact media partners
  • Driving consensus around product bundling to power key narratives
  • Influencing product teams to help drive shared goals
  • Establishing protocols for cross-functional internal partnership
  • Assuring readiness for launches
  • Overseeing team budget and operations
  • Communicating launches across the company to assure informed and strategic alignment
  • Tracking progress against team goals

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in marketing operational, campaign management, or planning role in internet technology companies or publishing platforms
  • Ability to contribute at both strategic and operational levels
  • Experience working with product or technical organizations
  • Experience as a cross-functional leader working in a fast-paced, often ambiguous, environment
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to translate problems into actionable solutions
  • Process oriented with project management skills
  • Ability to influence management skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally across disciplines and levels

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA
  • Experience working for media company, publisher, or publishing technology platform
  • Experience working with partnership, business development, or sales organizations
  • Understanding of the current challenges facing media publishers
