Facebook seeks an experienced Product Marketing leader ideally with a background in or strong passion for media to manage a team of regional Product Marketing Managers based in EMEA, LATAM and APAC that drive the go-to-market strategy for our Media products. The Partner Product Marketing team is a function within Media Partnerships responsible for driving product understanding and adoption through the Strategic Partner Manager teams that work closely with content creators around the world, including news publishers, broadcasters, sports teams/leagues, and public figures. The objective of this role is to lead outbound support of global product launches, set regional product adoption goals and objectives, and drive strategic decisions in close partnership with senior stakeholders. At the same time, the leader of this team will need to be a strong, hands-on operational manager and global leader who is able execute against business objectives while growing and developing individuals. Success in this position requires a strong understanding of Facebook's Media products, a focus on marketing services, and the ability to work in a cross-functional, dynamic environment. He or she must also have experience leveraging a variety of methods and approaches to influencing distributed teams. The ideal candidate is passionate about Facebook, is a clear communicator, an inspiring leader, can quickly build relationships with people of varying personality types, is interested in the evolving publisher landscape, and is able to move fast on high-impact projects. This is a full-time position and is located in our London office.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with vertical and regional Partnerships leadership and teams to drive product understanding and adoption to media publishers on how to best use our platform to help them reach their objectives on and off Facebook platforms
  • Partner with the product marketing and marketing activation teams to help roll out new Media products and feature enhancements
  • Distill and surface market feedback to product teams for new and existing media products
  • Aggregate individual product needs into broader trends/analysis
  • Identify scalable path to grow product adoption across channels or surface blockers to growth and potential solutions
  • Engage supporting roles like Partner Services, Media Ops and Marketing through cross-functional, cross-vertical and cross-office collaboration
  • Organize and conduct feedback sessions that help to identify our greatest opportunities within existing products and emerging businesses
  • Be a reliable source of insight on products in the media & entertainment ecosystem
  • Be an effective people manager supporting a global team

Minimum Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree or higher
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience with the media, advertising and marketing space
  • Track record of hands-on experience in distributing premium video in support of business objectives
  • Previous management experience a plus
  • Understanding of content landscape and media environment, new revenue streams, digital business models and overall Internet/technology space
  • Has demonstrated product marketing expertise in web and mobile advertising and the ability to contribute at strategic and tactical levels
  • Experience with the product feedback loop process, including capturing product feedback from customers or users, and summarizing usage trends to inform product decisions
  • Organizational, cross-functional communication and project management skills
  • Capable of driving internal stakeholders to a consensus on important issues
  • Communication and presentation skills
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to develop working relationships inside and outside Facebook
  • Analytical skills and familiarity with both industry and Facebook-related data/metrics
