As such, Facebook is a powerful way for companies to reach consumers and advertise their products and brands, leveraging the power of word of mouth recommendations.Facebook is seeking a strong, experienced leader to help build and manage the CPG & Retail Vertical for the French market.A team of Sales and Account Management Professionals who sell and manage Facebook’s marketing solutions to large advertisers across CPG & Retail. This is a unique opportunity to help build a high performing team from its initial stages and have a dramatic impact on the company’s growth. Ideal candidates will have a background in leading large teams, as well as extensive experience selling cross-network online and offline marketing solutions such as TV/Radio/Print/ as well as integrated sponsorships and display advertising. You will be an integral part of the management team responsible for sales planning and a strategic partner with customer marketing, product and engineering and business operations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, retain and motivate existing team while recruiting for new members and continually raising the bar for talent and capabilities
  • Manage a team of several direct reports – both people managers and individual contributors
  • Provide business analytic strength to help drive initiatives critical to ongoing growth at market and regional levels
  • Establish financial and operating targets and ensure alignment with strategic plan
  • Develop and execute strategy to ensure growth and achievement of key accounts (regional/national) and revenue objectives
  • Provide timely and accurate forecasts and clear visibility on sales and revenue performance by actively managing the pipeline of opportunities and weekly sales forecasts
  • Build and maintain senior level clients by identifying incremental and business transformation opportunities
  • Prospect and penetrate large organizations to obtain brand and direct response advertising
  • Create persuasive sales presentations using market trends, case studies and Facebook network solutions
  • Analyze campaign performance statistics and recommend optimized media solutions
  • Exceed sales, pricing and yield goals
  • Ensure that our clients receive the highest level of sales and operational customer service
  • Prioritize and deliver timely, high quality work
  • Collaborate with internal, cross market/regional teams to ensure product improvement, transfer knowledge, improving process/client relationship
  • Actively participate in the EMEA leadership team and global teams where appropriate, embracing company culture, mission, and strategy
  • Drive overall operational efficiency across sales, marketing and business operations

Minimum Qualifications

  • 15+ years sales experience combined with experience in leading large teams
  • Strong management, analytical and planning skills
  • Fluency in English and French is necessary
  • Online or Advertising Sales expertise strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of social media, reseller channels and vertical markets across the French market is a plus
  • Relationships with top marketing decision makers at traditional companies and agencies
  • Proven track record of reaching and exceeding sales revenue goals
  • Results and detail orientated
  • Demonstrated ability to perform well in a highly dynamic, rapidly changing environment
  • Understand user behavior and how technology works and the ability to explain each in ordinary terms
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Experience managing managers strongly preferred
  • Great team player
