Facebook's Global Security Systems and Technology team is seeking a highly talented and motivated individual to join the team. The Global Security organization builds and implements best-in-class technology, and partners with other teams within Facebook to enhance the security systems experience while protecting our people, assets and reputation. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with and drive product development with a team of world-class engineers and designers when required
  • Strategically evolve and grow existing products and services to constantly deliver a better user experience
  • Gather product requirements, define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products and drive strategy and roadmap
  • Foster a culture of data driven decision making
  • Automate and streamline products and processes where feasible to develop standards and reporting best practices
  • Integrate usability studies, research and market analysis into product requirements to enhance user satisfaction
  • Prioritize features and tasks for the product using internal tools, tracking and reviewing the product direction and current work frequently
  • Manage collaboration and communication with other teams, both internal and external, to ensure teams have what they need and can work efficiently
  • Establish prioritized roadmaps and implement strategies for executing, measuring progress, and communicating results against these goals that will advance the organization's productivity through thoughtful technology
  • The Technology Integration Specialist is an expert within the technical solutions team who works with internal partners, assess the need for new systems against existing systems, create scopes of work, deploys new and reconfigures existing technologies, applications and hardware to complete projects relevant to supporting Global Security Systems Infrastructure
  • The Technology Integration Specialist will work directly with end users, the Technical Operations Center, operational Global Security teams, vendors, manufacturers, internal and external developers to implement new and proven technologies that are highly scalable, create value, efficiencies and give time back to the user
  • You'll be part windows and Linux system administrator, part SQL admin and part application expert and will offer thoughtful opinion and leadership to any given situation
  • You'll enjoy spending most of your time working with vendors and internal groups to develop features for existing systems and make systems perform functions to they were not designed to do
  • The Technology Integration Specialist is proactive when roadblocks are found and works with cross-functional team members to be agile, adjust and move forward with the customers' needs always in mind
  • You will work to integrate a range of existing and new technologies including: PSIM, Genetec, CCure 9000, Commend, and many more in house applications and systems in enterprise environments
  • Collaborate with technical teams to develop and maintain end-to-end project plans, ensuring on-time delivery including creating requirements, use and test cases as well as support and escalation plans
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Communication, technical, presentation and interpersonal experience
  • Experience managing multiple task and priorities
  • Knowledge in writing SQL statements, installing and configuring windows and Linux servers
  • Knowledge in physical security systems, security hardware, locks, cameras, and networked-based equipment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics or related experience
  • Technical experience with analytical tools, methodologies and design
  • Experience giving presentations to executive levels and above
  • Experience with client and vendor management
  • 5+ years of experience integrating system of a disparate and complementary nature
  • 5+ years' experience installing maintaining large enterprise security systems
