Global Program Support Manager, Facility Operations

Our data centers serve as the foundation upon which our software operates to meet the demands of our customers. The Global Facilities Program Support team supports our Data Center Site teams on standardized process and procedure governance, delivery or high caliber training programs, assessment of day-to-day operations, and delivery of other key initiatives. The candidate will need to be experienced in critical operations, process optimization, and project management. This position is full-time and will be based in Menlo Park, CA.


  • Support improvement in standard processes and procedures to support operational excellence:
  • - Manage a cross-functional team responsible for leading programs and processes that support facility operations at Facebook owned and leased data centers
  • - Provide for cross communications with counterparts at all data center sites, with the leadership team, and adjacent operating teams to share lessons learned and best practices
  • - Oversee assessment of facility operations post incident reports, root cause analysis, and corrective action plans
  • - Leverage lessons learned and best practices to improve optimize operational capabilities, processes, and routines
  • - Support and drive the development of new global standards, training products, and maintenance requirements and procedures
  • - Provide strategic guidance to support management of necessary supplies, repair parts, and consumables
  • - Approximately 35% travel required
  • 10+ years of experience managing technical or critical facility operations
  • Experience in people management, staffing, and scheduling in large-scale 24/7 environments
  • Experience making decisions and work with minimal direction
  • Track record of thinking strategically and executing tactically
  • Experience in root cause analysis, project and program management
  • Experience providing solutions to cross-functional projects
