GLOBAL EVENTS SECURITY MANAGER - INTERNATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Working with key business partners to setting the global strategy (including policies and SOPs) for the secure conduct of Facebook events to protect Facebook's people, assets and reputation
  • Lead, manage and develop a global team of event security professionals
  • Assessing the risks and threats to Facebook's events and ensure the excellent execution of security support to Facebook events
  • Ensure the adaptation of new technologies that can better support the delivery of secure events
  • Provide guidance to key business partners including Exec Protection, the 360 program, GSS collegues and others to ensure the specific risks around key Facebook events are identified and mitigated
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's Degree or 10 Years Related Experience Security Experience, including specific events security experience
  • 2+ years of management experience, including remotely managing international teams
  • Experience of working in a diverse, fast moving, multinational corporate environment
  • Experience of building and maintaining networks with government agencies including law enforcement, security and intelligence services and emergency services
  • Experience of designing and maintaining strategic global programs
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience of implementing basic health and safety principles to event planning
  • Understanding or direct experience of executive protection
  • Experience of working in Counter-terrorism environment
  • Experience of vendor management
  • Experience of working across EMEA, LATAM, ASIAPAC and NORAM
