The Rotational Software Engineering program is designed to offer experienced engineers a one-year rotation through different Facebook engineering departments to develop engineering skills and gain meaningful experience for the rest of their career. Technical Recruiters on our team will recruit for the Rotational Software Engineering program. Although the role is full cycle, we are open to training Sourcers without closing experience. Participants in the program include members of historically underrepresented groups and have non-traditional career paths, candidates from non-tech industries, candidates without Computer Science degrees who are self-taught, candidates starting second careers, re-entering the workforce, and those who have attended bootcamp-style programming courses. Responsibilities

  • Find and engage unique and/or passive candidates through creative sourcing techniques
  • Regularly manage pipeline activity and maintain data integrity, and proactively share data-centric updates
  • Attend events internally/externally to advocate for the rEng program
  • Establish and maintain meaningful relationships across management and key cross-functional stakeholders internally (e.g. Recruiting, HR, Compensation, and Diversity teams)
  • Collaborate with others on the recruiting team

Minimum Qualifications

  • 1+ years of sourcing experience
  • Ability to influence and drive toward results in a fast-paced environment
  • Problem solving skills
  • Experience in compensation and general HR requirements as related to hiring
  • Ability to work in a highly team-based environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience closing candidates with a high close rate (above 80%)
