Financial Operations Lead â€" Credit Analyst

The Facebook Finance team is seeking an experienced professional to join the team to provide financial support. This position will be based in our Austin, TX office. The primary responsibility of the Credit Analyst is to ensure that Facebook’s credit exposure is appropriate, and any risk is minimized, while supporting revenue growth in a fast-paced and dynamically changing environment.
The Credit Analyst will support Facebook’s North America region with customer credit approval, portfolio management, controls/audit adherence, invoicing, accounts receivable, risk analysis, and collections processes, along with all associated reporting requirements. You will help drive the overall financial planning, communication and effectiveness of Facebook’s Credit & Collections team into Facebook’s Finance, Sales, and Sales Support teams. You will be responsible for collecting, evaluating and managing financial information for credit worthiness reviews/approvals, collections, and for assuring that accounts receivable transactions follow Facebook company policies and General Accepted Accounting Principles. You will be required to interact with various levels of management across the Facebook organization, as well as interact routinely and effectively with external Facebook customers and their relationship bankers. Cross functional projects will be an integral part of this job, within the North America region or other global regions, with effective project management skills, leadership, and partnership skills a must.


  • Direct performance and review of credit inquiries, recommending/granting credit limit assignments, accounts receivable aging analysis, cash receipt forecasting, and other special projects
  • Evaluate specific credit needs and credit risk factors for each account
  • Perform analysis of financial statements of customers as required
  • Support the Sales team by actively seeking and developing partnership, understanding the business requirements and ensuring communication is maintained at the highest standards
  • Effectively manage credit-related support requests and escalations
  • Monitor and manage the automated approval workflow up to a designated credit authority
  • Head & direct credit reporting for North America regions and by sales verticals
  • Provide training and documentation support for internal Sales/Sales Ops team on invoiced revenue and credit establishment processes
  • Lead training for new hires and refresher training as needed
  • Promoting customer goodwill through professional credit management and relationship building
  • Maintain key process for support teams and coordinate to optimize operational process
  • Manage tasks for process improvements as needed
  • Support key control and audit compliance activities in relation to the credit function, while ensuring integrity and compliance at all times
  • B.S. in Finance, Accounting or related field
  • Experience in communication, negotiation and presenting in public
  • Experience with outsource providers
  • 3+ years of Commercial Credit management experience in a multinational company
  • Project management experience
  • Experience in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with Oracle/Salesforce/Systems implementations
  • Strong analytic, problem-solving and root cause analysis abilities with statistical analysis foundation
