The Financial Planning & Analysis team oversees our investments in headcount, operating expenses and capital investment. We focus on using our unique view into the numbers to see trends and opportunities that are developing within the company as well as across the industry. Successful candidates for this team have a bias toward action, exceptional partnership and communication skills, and know-how to balance getting the details right while still moving fast. In this specific role, you will join the team that manages the finances for Oculus, the leading virtual reality company in the industry, which plans to release multiple products in upcoming years. Your responsibilities will include the creation, tracking, reporting and analysis of budgets and investments in headcount, operating expenses and capital expenditures for Oculus as our business grows. Responsibilities

  • Create strong business partnerships with leaders of various functions across Oculus
  • Help business partners gain key insights into spend with insightful analyses and reporting
  • Contribute to planning, budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning
  • Build thoughtful resource allocation analyses to drive better investment decisions
  • Help define and implement scalable financial processes related to month-end and quarter-end close, including accruals and reporting
  • Collaborate with groups in finance and operations, including vendor management, fixed assets, accounting and tax to support Oculus
  • Drive process improvements by partnering with up-stream process owners and enhance current tools/systems related to financial management

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2+ years of financial analysis experience from a technology company or a public accounting firm
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience with PowerPoint, Oracle, and Hyperion
  • Experience in applicable accounting concepts and financial planning
  • Ability to work and problem solve independently, to organize workload and priorities, and complete tasks on time
  • Ability to partner with and influence key functional leaders
