Executive Assistant, Human Resources

Facebook is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to support the VP, People in Menlo Park. The person in this role will need to be a masterful problem-solver and an organizational force given complex & heavy calendaring. This role requires the ability to anticipate issues before they arise, to proactively recommend creative solutions to problems, and to be flexible and adaptable to changing business needs. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have sound judgement, exceptional communication skills, and will be resourceful in building relationships across the larger Facebook ecosystem. This position is full-time.


  • Manage dynamic, time-sensitive, and complex calendars
  • coordinate internal meetings for multiple executives
  • Coordinate both domestic and international travel arrangements & prepare expense reports
  • Manage schedule, structure, agenda and follow-up of multiple recurring team meetings
  • Build cross-functional relationships with key partners across the larger HR organization and within the Global Marketing Solutions organization
  • Project manage agenda and logistics for team off-sites and assist with larger HR events as needed
  • Coordinate across the extended cross-functional & regional teams
  • Support management of various projects within the team
  • Contribute to admin activities within the HR team that include team meetings and trainings
  • 8+ years of experience providing administrative support to 1 or more executives
  • 8+ years of experience coordinating travel logistics on behalf of 1 or more executives
  • 8+ years of calendar management and expense report management experience for 1 or more executives
  • Experience prioritizing multiple projects
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • BA/BS
