Enterprise Engineering New Builds Manager

Facebook's Enterprise Engineering New Builds (EENB) team is responsible for the deployment and turn-up of office technology in all of the Facebook offices around the globe. This includes audio visual and video conferencing systems, printers, digital wayfinding, production events spaces, specialty demo spaces and more. We are part of the construction process and ensure the effective deployment of innovative spaces that help drive collaboration and communication company wide. We are currently looking for an experienced, insightful individual to manage, measure and improve the Enterprise Engineering New Office Builds processes and team. Reporting to the Office Technology Deployment manager, the EENB Manager is responsible for the quality of the overall EENB service delivery. The position is seen as an EE leader and will be a people management role, therefore strong interpersonal skills are a must. In this position, it is expected the person will understand the EE New Builds environment in order to ensure alignment with cross-functional partners, as well as drive execution and efficiencies within the team. This position is part of the EE Organization, as such candidates must be passionate about technology, live for amazing customer service and have the ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manages the EENB project management resources across global regions/locations, including line management of FTE Individual Contributors and Leads. This encompasses all facets of people management, including performance management and skills/career growth
  • Anticipates future growth and advises on resource needs. Ensure EENB staffing is matched with project load
  • Drives goal setting for EENB and ensures measurements are in place for tracking performance against goals
  • Effective management and prioritization of all build escalations and works with appropriate teams to see issues through to end resolution
  • Establish strong relationships with E-Ops Service owners (helpdesk, logistics, AV/VC, Event Operations, Corporate Networking) and cross-functional partners (Facilities, EE Security, Workplace Design)
  • Understands roadmaps and applications. Owns resolution to gaps in services
  • Performs service reviews with reports and cross-functional partners. Uses data from service reviews to identify trends, opportunities for efficiencies and gaps in service
  • Responsible for solving issues, driving enhancements, and improving support for all EE New Builds functions, including project planning, project execution, financial management
  • Develop, coordinate and lead local and worldwide EE projects and initiatives
  • Drive communication and priority within the business and global teams to ensure consistency across the organization
  • Provide FDOB leadership
  • Prepare the office for new product/service releases and stay on the forefront of emerging industry practices, ensuring compliance with EE security and general controls
  • Ability to travel within the US and internationally
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5+ years of experience managing build projects, with experience managing construction or new office build
  • 2+ years Project Budget and Cost Management experience
  • 5+ years people management experience
  • Working knowledge of applications/business processes
  • Experience in growing/scaling an EE organization
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience
