Employee Relations Specialist APAC

Facebook is seeking an experienced and energetic ER Specialist to support our leaders and HR Business Partner team in managing employee relations. The ideal candidate will have a broad HR knowledge with demonstrated employee relations experience, familiar with APAC employment law and a proficiency in leading and managing projects. Singapore is Facebook’s headquarters in the Asia-Pacific region – an area that’s experiencing unprecedented growth. The potential to make an impact is endless as our teams look to connect billions more people.This is a full-time role located in our Singapore office.


  • Partner with the Business, HRBP and Legal teams to create and sustain a positive employee relations program and best practice
  • Lead the transition of Employee Relations (ER) cases from the Business Partner team into this new role
  • Manage ER cases across APAC to resolution ensuring fair outcome and legal compliance
  • Support the development of employee relations capability among people managers in APAC
  • Work in collaboration with Facebook’s Employment Legal Counsel and Investigations team
  • Partner with the People Tech team to roll out a new technical solution to track and manage ER cases
  • Analyze ER data and provide insights on trends to the business and HRBP teams
  • Proactively manage projects end to end as assigned & seek out stakeholder support as needed
  • Continually pursue ways to improve existing processes and implement best practice
  • Frequently travel to different offices within region as needed

Minimum Qualifications

  • An experienced professional with a demonstrated full understanding of employee relations
  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • 6 to 8+ years experience in a HR role
  • Strong working knowledge of APAC wide employment legislation
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to handle sensitive matters with tact and diplomacy
  • Proven ability to effectively organize, prioritize, and handle multiple assignments simultaneously
  • Ability to interact with all levels of a professional organization
  • Proven project management experience
