Diversity Project Manager

To support our mission, we're looking for an experienced and impact driven Diversity and Inclusion Project Manager to join our WhatsApp & Messenger Diversity teams. Diversity Project Managers at Facebook are passionate connectors and problem solvers. As a Diversity Project Manager, you will work closely with multiple cross-functional partners to find, grow, and keep top diverse talent for WhatsApp and FB Messenger. We are seeking individuals who are team-oriented and collaborative with a project management mind-set and an interest in diversity. Key to this role is the ability to move fast, be responsive, navigate ambiguity, and make an impact.


  • Manage diversity and including (Diversity and Inclusion) project and program execution directly and through others
  • Execute D&I actions across a range of programs in partnership with Diversity Business Partners, HR Business Partners, and initiative leaders
  • Provide flexible approaches that meet team needs, including the ability to move fast and make progress or navigate blocks quickly
  • Provide clear measurement of progress and encourage contribution to Diversity and Inclusion actions by people across a given org
  • Execute actions in the business directly aligned to Diversity and Inclusion strategies to increase diverse representation and inclusion
  • Coordinate, track and report on WhatsApp and Messenger Task Force and team activities
  • Collect qualitative and quantitative feedback to measure impact and improve efforts
  • Market WhatsApp and Messenger Diversity and Inclusion Task Force events and opportunities for visibility and participating throughout the org
  • 4+ years of experience as a project manager or program manager
  • Experience with establishing programs, supporting cross-functional teams, and developing relationships across multiple offices
  • Experience working autonomously in a fast-paced work environment
  • Experience influencing, developing, and empowering employees across multiple locations
  • Experience facilitating or communicating to audiences
  • Experience communicating with data to drive change
  • Track record of operating independently
  • Experience leading project or programs from end-to-end
  • Experience in Diversity and Inclusion recruiting, development and community-based programming
  • Knowledge for Diversity and Inclusion work and impact
  • Cross functional experience with experience creating partnerships
  • Experience creating Powerpoint presentations and presenting to Leadership
  • Experience leading a Task Force to successful outcomes
