Director, Video Creators - Media Partnerships

The Entertainment Media Partnerships team is seeking a leader to take our partnerships with emerging talent and creators to the next level. This role will be responsible for setting the strategic plan for market development, guiding the team with efficiency and ruthless prioritization, and optimizing our existing processes with an eye towards scaling the long-term strategy for emerging talent. This role will be an internal advocate for emerging talent and creators working directly with Strategic Partner Managers, Product Managers, Engineers, Business Development and other internal partners to drive our emerging talent strategy. The Partnerships team is the external arm of Facebook and works with the world’s largest and most exciting organizations on high profile projects. This position is based in Los Angeles and will report into the Entertainment Partnerships Director.


  • Identify and prioritize creators segments that can thrive on our platform, crafting an effective strategic plan to develop these partners with a solid value proposition for the long-term
  • Create and drive strategies to scale product adoption and product features for emerging talent, aligned with internal stakeholders
  • Lead and develop a team of Strategic Partner Managers who oversee emerging talent partnerships
  • Connect with regional Creators leads to align major opportunities and priority segments across the globe
  • Be an internal advocate for partners and segments with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, business development, and communications, empowering the company on what's needed to succeed with them
  • Work with relevant internal teams to ensure that Facebook is prioritizing partner input in relevant product and policy decisions
  • Track and manage our emerging talent partnerships flow and analyze its impact on the Facebook platform
  • BA/BS degree
  • 12+ years entertainment industry experience and/or partner management, with at least 4 years focused on emerging talent/creators
  • Experience leading a team in a cross-functional work setting
  • Knowledge on the emerging talent/creators ecosystem, segments, and needs
  • Knowledge of Facebook products and social media
  • Communication and presentation experience
  • Demonstrated experience thinking strategically about issues, leading to recommendations and action plans
  • Experience with managing financial analysis and budget forecasts
  • Experience working cross-functionally with all levels of management, both internally and externally
  • Rapid learner who thrives in a fast-paced environment
