Facebook is seeking a strong, experienced, commercial leader to build and manage a vertically focused team of Client Partners and Client Solutions Managers who sell and manage Facebook’s marketing solutions to our large and fast growing “managed” “Digital Native” clients in the Online Travel Agency (OTA) and Financial Services Technology (Fintech) verticals. This is a unique opportunity to sustain and grow an existing high performing team to have a continuing impact on the company's growth. Ideal candidates will have a background in leading large consultative solutions selling teams in these industries, as well as extensive experience selling cross-network online and offline marketing solutions such as TV/Radio/Print/ as well as integrated sponsorships and display advertising, particularly in the DACH region. You will be an integral part of the management team responsible for commercial leadership, sales planning and a strategic partner with customer marketing, product and engineering and business operations. You will also be expected to partner closely with the Germany based sales teams in Hamburg and Berlin. Relevant industry experience is a requirement. Deep experience in digital performance and display marketing solutions would be a distinct advantage. This role is based in our EMEA “Digital Native” Client Hub within our International Headquarters in Dublin, Ireland, and reports to the Regional Director â€" Sales and Client Solutions - Central Europe. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Play a critical role in building, training and managing a high performing sales organization focusing Online Travel and Fintech
  • Managing a team of Client Partner and Client Solutions Manager direct reports
  • Build long term strategic partnerships with some of the largest clients in the OTA and Fintech industries
  • Work closely with the SMB (Small Medium Business) team and the Vertical Lead enabling for new acquisitions
  • Provide business analytic strength to help drive initiatives critical to ongoing growth
  • Establish financial and operating targets and ensure alignment with strategic plan
  • Prospect and penetrate large organizations to obtain brand and direct response advertising
  • Create persuasive sales presentations using market trends, case studies and Facebook network solutions
  • Analyze campaign performance statistics and recommend optimized media solutions
  • Exceed sales, pricing and yield goals
  • Ensure that our clients receive the highest level of sales and operational customer service
  • Prioritize and deliver timely, high quality work
  • Entire Sales Planning and execution piece of Sales Operations Role and work as a strong partner to peers in the DACH GSO management team
  • Represent facebook in senior client, agency and market meetings
  • Act as a thought leader in Online Travel and Fintech to grow Facebook’s footprint in the market and gain additional shares on total advertising budgets
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • A minimum of 10-12 years of proven sales and account management experience in digital marketing with several years of Sales management experience
  • Online or Advertising Sales strongly preferred. Strong management, analytical and planning skills
  • Entrepreneurial background in eCommerce, Online Travel and Fintech preferred
  • Knowledge of advertising media, reseller channels and vertical markets in the DACH region
  • Relationships with top marketing decision makers at traditional companies and agencies
  • Proven track record of reaching and exceeding sales revenue goals
  • Demonstrated ability to perform well in a highly dynamic, rapidly changing environment
  • Understand user behaviour and how technology works and the ability to explain each in ordinary terms
  • Consulting experience a plus excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Experience managing managers strongly preferred
  • Great team player
  • Demonstrated success as a leader of change, achieving operational excellence by introducing new performance measures, processes and systems
  • Ability to perform well in a highly dynamic, rapidly changing environment
  • Understanding of user behaviour and how technology works and the ability to explain each in ordinary terms
  • Must be fluent in English Fluent German language skills preferred
