Facebook is looking for the highest calibre executive leader to manage Facebook's growth across Canada, spearheading the company's strategic relationships with global brands, agencies and partners for Facebook's advertising platform. We are looking to identify an exceptional people leader with a proven track record of delivering success in a high performing organization. The candidate will have a deep understanding of the market opportunities and will create an inspiring vision to set objectives and run day-to-day operations. The role leads the strategy across a functional team including sales, marketing, measurement, and creative, and reports into the VP of North America. This role will be located out of our Toronto office.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute Facebook's strategy and operations to ensure growth andachievement of objectives across Canada
  • Develop, retain and motivate the Canadian team while attracting new members andcontinually raising the bar for talent and capabilities
  • Be the face of the company in Canada by raising public profile and delivering key note speeches at industry conferences and events
  • Manage revenue performance by providing timely and accurate forecasts, by havingclear visibility on sales and revenue performance, and by actively managing the pipeline of opportunities
  • Build and maintain relationships with senior level clients while identifying incrementalopportunities
  • Collaborate with internal and regional teams to ensure product improvement process efficiency, and transfer of knowledge
  • Actively participate in the Leadership Team and global teams where appropriate,embracing the company mission

Minimum Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sales and management of a technology and/or Internet company
  • Track record for managing regional sales and marketing operations, with a preference for experience in media sales
  • 10+ years of sales leadership/management experience
  • A track record in Canada. Candidates must have senior executive relationships across the country's largest brands and businesses
  • Proven track record of delivering high growth
  • A history of executing against aggressive growth strategies and delivering sales targets in excess of company expectations, and a history of growing and developing high growth, scaled operations
  • An attractor of talent
  • Proven leadership ability to influence, develop, and empower employees to achieve their best with a team approach
  • Experience working with and knowledge of advertising agencies and groups. Asophisticated understanding of agency, television, Internet and other media advertising
  • Proven record of being creative, resourceful, detail-oriented, highly organized and of effectively influencing and communicating cross-functionally
