Facebook's Corporate Finance team is responsible for performing a variety of financial analyses and influencing business decisions. Key areas of focus range across M&A evaluations, capital structure planning, and industry research and benchmarking. The successful candidate will thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment by creating thoughtful, detailed analyses that employ sound corporate finance principles. The ideal candidate will have in depth financial modelling experience, thrive in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment and have exceptional partnership and communication skills.

  • Analysis regarding financial & business performance, debt & equity capital markets and capital structure
  • Influence business partners to gain key insights with meaningful and actionable analyses
  • Perform in-depth analyses to evaluate mergers and aquisitions, new initiatives and effectively communicate key takeaways
  • Collaborate with a variety of cross-functional stakeholders to both influence and drive project outcomes
  • Assist with ad-hoc projects for management and the Board including presentations and surfacing research-based insights
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or equivalent
  • 3+ years of finance experience
  • Experience in analyzing a financial statement and performing financial modeling inside of MS Excel
  • Experience with MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and S&P Capital IQ
  • Experience partnering with and influencing functional leaders
  • Experience working and problem solving independently, organizing workload and priorities, and completing tasks on time
  • Interpersonal and communication skills
  • MBA or MS in a quantitative field
  • 4+ years of finance experience at an investment bank, private equity, venture capital, or technology firm preferred
