Facebook seeks an experienced Corporate Communications Manager to support its global monetization efforts and programs. The successful candidate has strong experience in developing and executing high-profile communications initiative, working with business leaders and cross-functional teams, and brings deep knowledge in the concepts and technologies for online and mobile advertising. This is a full-time position based at our headquarters in Menlo Park, California.


  • Develop strategies and own day-to-day execution for public relations programs related to monetization products and programs
  • Interface and consult regularly with cross-functional teams across the company
  • Educate press, analysts and other influencers about Facebook's monetization products and strategy
  • Protect and enhance the reputation of Facebook and its products in core business and advertising markets
  • Prepare and support senior executives for media interviews and speaking engagements
  • Support and manage the creation of press materials and customer/partner programs
  • Work closely with external PR agencies for monetization products and advertising as well as broader growth and product initiatives
  • Organize press briefings, media sessions, and events

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree
  • 10+ years of professional experience in communications or public relations
  • Experience working with Fortune 500 or AdAge 100 companies and at PR firms/agencies
  • Experience working in internet, technology and/or advertising PR industries
  • Experience working with business executives
  • Experience working with business and bloggers to achieve communications goals
  • Experience in managing PR agencies, contractors and project management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Both agency and in-house experience
  • Experience working with or in support of diverse communities
