Corporate Communications Manager

Facebook is looking for a manager to run Corporate Media Relations for the company. The ideal candidate will have agency and in-house experience managing a wide range of corporate reputation issues, spanning both proactive and reactive efforts. This person should have a passion for storytelling as well as strategic, data-driven communications. This role will involve managing a growing team, building and executing on communications projects and designing tools and strategies to track Facebook's reputation. We are looking for a leader who can move fast, with empathy and a sense of humor. This role will involve managing the needs of both internal and external senior stakeholders, including executives and media. The ideal candidate has strong media relationships across tech and business publications, on both the east and west coasts of the US.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Corporate Media Relations for the entire company
  • Lead a growing team
  • Work cross-functionally with teams inside and outside Communications to achieve goals
  • Develop strategies to track, monitor and communicate high-impact issues affecting the business

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10+ years of professional media experience which includes 7+ years of traditional PR or media experience
  • Communications skills
  • Experience with project management and decision-making skills
  • Experience building relationships
