Content Development Lead

Facebook is looking for a creative and innovative Content Development Lead to join our Global Sales Learning team. The Global Sales Learning team supports sales teams across the Global Marketing Solutions organization at Facebook. In this position, you will partner with Instructional Design, Program Managers and sales experts to design and launch training deliverables including job aids, eLearning and instructor-led sessions.


  • Manage a team of Content Developers and support contractor resources
  • Take business problems and propose creative solutions through multimedia, including video, eLearning, and web-based training content
  • Create development standards to ensure consistency of content design across the team
  • Establish and implement a design methodology for both instructor-led content and self-paced, digital content which delivers a blended and "right-sized" experience for audiences
  • Identify and clearly define the ROI metrics for trainings and utilize for continuous improvement
  • Manage the quarterly maintenance of current programs
  • Manage resource capacity against pending program requests
  • Communicate regular status of projects
  • Stay current on learning trends and help create strategies to keep programs fresh
  • Manage and maintain team KPIs
  • Manage team performance, proving regular feedback and coaching
  • Maintain relationships with cross-functional partners to share best practices and planning for program development
Minimum Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in development of learning content
  • 3+ years of experience in people management
  • Experience using rapid development e-Learning tools (such as Evolve, Articulate, Captivate, Camtasia)
  • Experience in developing online and blended learning solutions - incorporating graphics, audio, video, and animation
  • Experience demonstrating needs analysis, project management, course development, and evaluation
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience using standard publishing tools (Office and Adobe products)
  • Experience in virtual (instructor led, web-based) classroom course development and delivery
  • Experience working with an LMS
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple concurrent projects, and drive initiatives in a cross-functional environment
  • Experience in project management, specifically with product training
  • Web-based, eLearning, technical skills (Ex. Evolve Authoring, HTML5, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.)
