The role of Client Partner of Telco and Tech is the main point of contact for leadership of one of Facebook's partnerships with a key telco/tech company. This role entails developing a keen understanding of the client's business and organization, become a thought partner and drive the relationship between Facebook and the client to the point that Facebook becomes an established marketing lever that drives the Client's business The Client Partner of Telco and Tech is the principal representative between Facebook and their senior client leadership team, and at the center of an extensive internal (market teams & support teams) and external (agency & client) ecosystem of partners who are paramount to help them achieve their mission.


  • Lead and manage the relationship with the client's team and their media agency
  • Identify and prioritize business opportunities for Facebook and our family of brands
  • Drive education on Facebook product, company updates and share Facebook best practices as relevant to client or agencies' business
  • Work with Client Solution Managers and cross functional teams to develop a co-ordinated approach focused on learning agenda, knowledge and build a solid business partnership with clients and the client's ecosystem
  • Develop best practice and distribute use cases with international team
  • Own the Local QBR, communicating both global and market level progress, highlights and opportunities
  • Help co-ordinate and resolve market issues from the centre
  • Help define Facebook's overall approach and focus in the Technology vertical and on specific book of business
  • Partner with other teams on structuring and executing operational and strategic initiatives - developing work plans, synthesizing market related data, leading analysis and defining the overall business approach to Facebook's success in the Telco and Technology Vertical
  • Increase the effectiveness of the team by recognizing opportunities for new approaches
  • Develop and implement best practices for client interaction, sales and services for Facebook, including a good understanding of working with advertisers and agencies Prospect and penetrate large organizations to grow their advertising spend with Facebook
  • Create persuasive sales presentations using market trends, case studies and Facebook network solutions
  • Analyse campaign performance statistics, build case studies and recommend optimized media solutions
  • Exceed sales, pricing and yield goals for yourself and your team
  • Ensure that our clients receive the highest level of sales and operational customer service
  • Maintain deep and up-to-date knowledge of digital Marketing, technology, and accompanying Facebook solutions
  • Analyse data and insights to guide strategy and implementation of Facebook
  • Drive education on Facebook product, company updates and share Facebook best practices as relevant to client or agencies' business

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in marketing, media sales or project management
  • Telco and Technology vertical experience preferred
  • Experience in managing multi-layer, complex business relationships
  • Proven and consistent track record of executing against an aggressive growth strategy and contributing to client revenue growth rates above expectations
  • Self starter with entrepreneurial approach to work, excellent leadership, organizational and problem solving/decision making skills with minimal direction, high attention to detail
  • Ability to convert business from other media channels
  • Results and detail orientated
  • Strong strategic thinking abilities

  • Deep understanding of the Technology industry, specific experience preferable
