Client Partner - Digital Natives

Facebook is seeking strong sales and marketing professional to help build and sell Facebook's advertising solutions to significant advertisers particularly in Digital Native verticals. This role will establish and expand relationships with new clients, and continue to cultivate and grow relationships with strategic clients. With proven understanding of digital media (performance marketing in particular), this role will align with a Client Solutions Manager within the Sales organization, to develop industry-specific marketing relationships and drive revenue by negotiating and optimizing complex opportunities with strategic clients. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in selling cross-network marketing solutions to multichannel advertisers. Having experience managing both brand and performance based campaigns, expertise in brand and performance based advertising products, and ability to leverage data and analytics to improve performance for digital campaigns is required. Client Partners must have strong consultative sales and analytical skills; thrive in a collaborative and innovative environment, and have a passion for Facebook. Success in this position will require a proven ability to reach and influence executive level customers; ecosystem partners (FMP's and Agencies) close new business, and provide holistic marketing solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as an industry thought leader in social media and digital advertising in order to drive vertical and client success leveraging Facebook's ongoing product and technology developments, particularly in the Digital Native verticals
  • Develop and actively manage short and long term account plans based on client brand and direct response marketing objectives
  • Accurately and effectively manage sales pipeline in order to prioritize business opportunities and resources
  • Develop and broaden high-level collaborative relationships, including understanding and identifying contacts that manage multiple budget, (brand, DR etc.) and close large deals with up to 40 major customers
  • Create and present needs-based solutions and high quality answers to RFPs
  • Reach and exceed sales quotas while contributing to overall vertical and team goals
  • Create and deliver consultative sales presentations using industry knowledge, market trends, and Facebook marketing solutions
  • Exhibit executive presence and confidence in presenting Facebook to C-suite executives
  • Partner with other vertical teams on structuring and executing operational and strategic initiatives - developing work plans, synthesizing market related data, leading analysis and defining the overall business approach
  • Methodical coordination & communication across the various entities (FMP, agency, direct client teams)
  • Help define Facebook's overall approach and focus in the vertical
  • Identify and prioritize business opportunities
  • Partner with other vertical teams on structuring and executing operational and strategic initiatives - developing work plans, synthesizing market related data, leading analysis and defining the overall business approach to Facebook's success in the Vertical
  • Develop and implement best practices for client interaction, sales and services for Facebook, including a good understanding of working with advertisers and agencies
  • Prospect and penetrate large organizations to obtain branded advertising
  • Develop metrics to measure the growth and performance of the sales team, and provide reports as needed
  • Create persuasive sales presentations using market trends, case studies and Facebook network solutions
  • Analyze campaign performance statistics and recommend optimized media solutions
  • Exceed sales, pricing and yield goals for yourself and your team
  • Identify training opportunities for the team and tools that would enhance sales team performance, effectiveness and client engagement
  • Have a strong pulse on cross-vertical challenges with campaigns, products and processes and help identify scalable solutions on behalf of the vertical
  • Partner with product teams and all cross-functional teams to act as point of contact and deliver collected and consolidated information that prioritizes customer requests
  • Hone in on vertical trends and opportunities in order to craft business cases that support any new requests and/or changes that alter product vision/roadmap

Minimum Qualifications

  • Marketing, Brand Advertising, Direct Response, Media Sales and/or Online Advertising 10+ years experience
  • 10+ years Digital and traditional media sales experience strongly preferred
  • Experience of the Asia-Pacific, US or CEE region, in particular the Digital Native verticals
  • Ability to build strong relationships with top marketing decision makers
  • Proven track record of successfully reaching and exceeding sales revenue goals through consultative sell
  • Strong understanding of Facebook user behavior and how technology works
  • Strong analytical and Excel skills are essential, as well as curiosity, persistence, and the ability to solve problems in a structured manner
  • Strong ability to apply rigor, methodologies and use technology to execute, assess, and explain complex brand and performance marketing solutions
  • Experience in a fast-paced start-up, sales, and/or online advertising environment strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to move fast, be bold, and thrive in a dynamic, quickly-changing environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work and collaborate in a team setting
