We succeed when we help our customers grow their businesses, create jobs and power their local communitiesFacebook is seeking a strong marketing vertical lead to help build and sell Facebook's advertising solutions to significant advertisers across the Auto and CPG verticals. This role will establish and expand relationships with new clients, and continue to cultivate and grow relationships with strategic clients. With proven understanding of digital media (performance marketing in particular), this role will align with a Client Solutions Manager within the Sales organization, to develop industry-specific marketing relationships. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in selling cross-network marketing solutions to multichannel advertisers. Having experience managing both brand and performance based campaigns, expertise in brand and performance based advertising products, and ability to leverage data and analytics to improve performance for digital campaigns is required. Client Partners must have strong consultative sales and analytical skills; thrive in a collaborative and innovative environment, and have a passion for Facebook. Success in this position will require a proven ability to reach and influence executive level customers; ecosystem partners (FMP's and Agencies), close new business and provide holistic marketing solutions.This is a 12 month position

  • Help define Facebook's overall approach and focus in the vertical
  • Identify and prioritize business opportunities
  • Partner with other vertical teams on structuring and executing operational and strategic initiatives - developing work plans, synthesizing market related data, leading analysis and defining the overall business approach to Facebook's success in the Vertical
  • Increase the effectiveness of the team by recognizing opportunities for new approaches
  • Develop and implement best practices for client interaction, sales and services for Facebook, including a good understanding of working with advertisers and agencies
  • Prospect and penetrate large organizations to obtain branded advertising
  • Develop metrics to measure the growth and performance of the sales team, and provide reports as needed
  • Create persuasive sales presentations using market trends, case studies and Facebook network solutions
  • Analyze campaign performance statistics and recommend optimized media solutions
  • Exceed sales, pricing and yield goals for yourself and your team
  • Ensure that our clients receive the highest level of sales and operational customer service
  • 8+ Years of Marketing, Brand Advertising, Direct Response, Media Sales and/or Online Advertising experience
  • Auto/CPG vertical experience is a plus
  • Work with C-Level employees at clients and agencies
  • At least 5+ years managing client accounts
  • Strong management and coaching skills
  • Knowledge of social media, reseller channels and vertical markets a plus
  • Ability to win the support of key stakeholders
  • Relationships with top marketing decision makers at traditional companies and agencies
  • Proven track record of reaching and exceeding sales revenue goals
  • Demonstrated success as a leader of change, achieving operational excellence by introducing new performance measures, processes and systems
  • Ability to perform well in a highly dynamic, rapidly changing environment
  • Fluency in English
  • Experience in a fast-paced startup, sales, and/or online advertising environment strongly preferred
