Business Development Representative (BDR) Manager, Workplace

To help with the ongoing growth of the Workplace business, we are seeking a world-class Sales Leader to lead the Inside Sales teams across EMEA.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about Facebook and the potential that Workplace has to transform organizations through more natural ways to communicate and collaborate. They will have a proven track record of growing new SaaS solutions across EMEA through implementing a sales-oriented, demand management practice for enterprise businesses. We are looking for a strategic, data-driven, thinker who can drive results through operational excellence and is able to move fast while keeping focused on go-to-market execution. This person will mentor and coach the team to mastery of these strategies and tactics.

This is a hands-on leadership role which requires excellent business skills to build and execute outbound prospecting campaigns. This person will partner with cross-functional teams (including operations, marketing, finance and product engineering), with the primary objective of enabling Workplace to scale across the region and attract and retain the most valuable and active client user base on the Workplace platform.

This is a full-time role and will be located in London, Workplace HQ.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE (BDR) MANAGER, WORKPLACE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and build a team of high-performing Business Development. Representatives to create sales pipeline for the regional sales teams.
  • Lead operational execution for outbound performance, forecasting, and strategic coaching.
  • Build outbound prospecting campaigns working with Sales, Field Marketing and Partners.
  • Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Partners and Sales to build GTM and messaging.
  • Develop global playbooks that clearly articulate best practices for building a world class demand generation engine.
  • Develop medium and long term strategic plan for demand generation for EMEA.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5+ years of experience in SaaS space, with strong preference experience in B2B growth companies
  • Significant leadership and people management experience
  • Proven track record of successfully building outbound sales processes while exceeding targets
  • Passion for enterprise software, great products, start-ups, and the business of innovation
  • Keen ability to translate complexity into simple and intuitive actions plans, communications
  • Strategic thinker who is comfortable in a fast-paced, always-on, highly ambiguous start-up environment
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing product and respond strategically to customer needs
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships at all levels of management, both inside and outside Facebook
  • Experience meeting multiple objectives in an entrepreneurial environment with little supervision
  • Strong analytical ability and outstanding written and oral communications skills
  • BA/BS degree required, MBA or other relevant advanced degree preferred
