Facebook’s Business Applications team is responsible for building user-friendly, scalable, and robust enterprise applications. We are currently looking for an experienced, insightful, forward-thinking Application Engineer with a demonstrated ability to support and build application products that power the enterprise. As a member of BizApps Production, you will play a key role in reimagining productivity by supporting/ enhancing/building transformative products that serve diverse aspects of the enterprise. This is a full-time position based in our Singapore office.


  • Supporting, providing subject matter expertise, Building and configuring solutions on Oracle Application modules in the procure-to-pay, record-to-pay, order-to-cash, supply chain tracks. This includes working experience in Financial modules primarily with Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, and General Ledger processes
  • Triage and disposition production support tasks effectively, accurately and efficiently
  • Responsible for application support and configuration
  • Influence enhancements and new projects to improve the product and end user experience
  • Understand EBS data model, write complex SQL queries and perform data analysis to discover and fix underlying causes of bugs
  • Participate in source control and code(SQL, PL/SQL ) review process
  • Provide expertise from a systems and process perspective
  • Communicate effectively with internal customers, enabling informed decision making within the team
  • Track key application metrics, drives insights and builds dashboards to measure results against goals
  • Identify risks within the business function, communicate them effectively, delivering clear documentation and work directly with vendors on all escalations
  • Analyze issues of moderate complexity
  • addressing configuration, implementation, and function or process fails
  • Develop and maintain a well-coordinated internal relationship with key decision makers and with the wider IT organization
  • Lead/support all business readiness activities including end user training, product testing and roll-out

Minimum Qualifications

  • BS Degree in Computer Science, Math, Statistics or comparable
  • Minimum 5-8+ years’ of experience in Oracle EBS Application with exposure on the following Financial modules (Accounts Payables, Fixed Assets and GL)
  • Must have experience working successfully with multiple internal stakeholders, and within a client or business facing role
  • 2+ years’ experience with EBS data models, experience writing complex SQL queries and perform data analysis
  • Ability to work autonomously and make critical or time sensitive decisions with minimal guidance and oversight
  • 1+ year of experience building back end applications on Oracle EBS
  • 1+ year of experience building applications and integrations using PL/SQL
  • Experience in understanding large and complex code bases, including API design techniques
