Administrative Assistant, Platform

Facebook is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to support 2-3 Directors on the Platform Engineering team. This position is full-time and located in our Menlo Park, CA office.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate internal and external meetings for multiple Directors
  • Manage hectic and complex calendars
  • Partner with local admin team to assist with events, off sites, space planning, vacation coverage, and other general office duties
  • Assist teams with swag branding, design, and distribution
  • Coordinate space planning and moves in partnership with Facilities team
  • Assist with the new hire on-boarding
  • Prepare expense reports and purchase requisitions
  • Coordinate both domestic and international travel arrangements
  • Build cross-functional relationships between departments
  • Plan happy hours, lunches, and team events/off sites regularly
  • Assist admins and managers in MPK with Seattle related requests when needed
  • Take on project management tasks as needed

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of calendar management and expense report management
  • 5+ years of recent, full-time administrative experience (recent is within last 3-5 years)
  • 5+ years of experience coordinating travel logistics on behalf of 1 or more Directors
  • Computer skills and knowledge in Outlook
  • Experience planning events
  • Experience with space planning
  • BA/BS required

  • Experience working with engineering teams
