VP, Sales

FabFitFun, one of the fastest growing companies in the U.S., is seeking an experienced creative strategist and leader to direct our business development and manage our sales team.  The VP, Sales will lead our sales and media initiatives, selling our value proposition out into the marketplace.

What You'll Do:

  • Implement and lead the company’s sales strategies, working closely with the executive team to lead the company’s business objectives across all markets
  • Identify strategic needs and drive partnerships through conception, research, partner selection, negotiation, contract, and relationship management and growth
  • Leverage your relationships in the sales community to meet with teams at both the brand level and agency level to introduce FabFitFun in the market and drive revenue
  • Create, pitch, and negotiate proposals which incorporate FabFitFun’s capabilities, include sampling, custom content, influencer campaigns, and events
  • Build, service, and support relationships with brands and agencies
  • Take a creative approach to selling, identifying brand/agency needs and creating custom packages and solutions
  • Engage and partner with C-Level executives and key stakeholders
  • Develops annual sales plan in support of organization strategy and objectives
  • Cultivate a culture of success for ongoing business and goal achievement
  • Proactively identify business development opportunities aligned to strategic objectives

What You'll Bring:

  • 10+ years experience in sales
  • Similar role at a B2C and/or media company
  • Prior CPG experience / existing relationships in the CPG – both brand direct and through agencies
  • Superior skills in in all areas of the sales cycle including prospecting, building relationships, negotiating and selling based on value
  • Proven track record of closing dynamic partnerships within the consumer goods industry
  • Detailed knowledge of marketing trends, emerging media, consumer insights and the latest digital / social / mobile technologies
  • A proven leader, exceptional communicator, and compelling presenter with excellent negotiation skills
  • Significant background in digital advertising, events, and multi-platform sales, including sampling and/or influencer campaigns, in both large media companies as well as start-up atmospheres
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and managing contacts/workflow with CRM technology (ex, Salesforce)
