We are seeking a Bilingual People Operations Manager to lead the HR & Recruiting function at our rapidly-growing warehouse in the City of Industry. The warehouse is a multi-shift workforce of 30+ full time employees and over a hundred seasonal temp employees. This is a newly created position and a great opportunity for a progressive HR professional looking to have an impact on a growing ecommerce! The People Operations Manager will be a strategic partner to the warehouse leadership team.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and maintain the HR & Recruiting functions including sourcing applicants, benefits administration, employee relations, and safety compliance
  • Create and maintain an integrated recruiting program
  • Plan and execute in house recruitment events and represent the company at outside hiring events with the goal of attracting and retaining qualified candidates
  • Ensure compliance with company and governmental rules and regulations, maintain postings and continual audit of requirements
  • Coach and mentor employees and managers for improved business performance, engagement and employee relations resolution
  • Work with management on maintaining a positive work environment
  • Manage employee onboarding process in partnership with hiring managers
  • Assist with department budgeting including training, safety, benefits and related activities
  • Plan, administer and supervise training programs, including safety and employee development
  • Ensure data integrity in HRIS (Namely) system and process transactions including adding new hires, organizational changes, terminations, and leaves of absence
  • Administer our leave of absence program by advising, tracking, and managing employees throughout the entire LOA process.
  • Assist with the semi-annual compensation and performance review process
  • Plan and direct recruiting, staffing and retention programs with the goal of attracting and retaining qualified candidates

What you’ll bring:

  • Minimum 8+ years of HR & Recruiting program development and execution experience within a warehouse or fulfillment center environment
  • Bilingual in Spanish (reading, writing, speaking) required
  • A full understanding of federal, state and local employment and safety regulations
  • Solid knowledge of employee relations best practices and skill in positively handling conflict
  • Effective communication skills - know how to be easily understood and make others feel heard
  • Knowledge of HR policies and laws including FMLA, Leave of Absences, and other relevant HR related laws
  • Great organizational skills with exceptional follow through and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical skills, and comfortable working with, and managing large amounts of information and data
  • Technically proficient in Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Bonus points: experience with a wide-variety of systems and tools (Namely, Greenhouse, Google Applications, etc.)
