Sr HR Generalist

This Sr. HR Generalist is responsible for supporting the HR function for the North America Sales Organization. You will drive initiatives; develop programs and processes that enable the business groups to meet/exceed department objectives. In partnership with HR Business Partners, you will provide direction and developmental support in alignment with F5's business goals and objectives for increased effectiveness, growth, and profitability.
Provide HR support to assigned business groups. This may include but is not limited to: Process improvement, performance management, employee relations, compensation, recruiting, policy and procedure applications, as well as day-to-day operations.
Advise and coach managers on best employment practices on a day-to-day basis.
Work on complex employee relation issues for assigned business groups.
Contribute compensation support including approval of salary actions, promotions and job analysis.
May administer and develop HR programs, procedures and plans.
Maintain current and complete understanding and ensure organizational compliance of all federal, state and local laws including Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, ADA, FMLA, ADEA, FLSA and EEO regulations.
Utilize excellent communication and interpersonal skills to successfully establish and maintain professional relationships and work effectively with all levels of management.
Works independently on assigned projects.
Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or related field required.
6+ years experience functioning in an HR Generalist capacity.
PHR/SPHR certification preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Current understanding of federal, state and local employment laws.
Demonstrated ability to present, influence, negotiate and effectively coach employees and management to use company best practices for maximum effectiveness.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Demonstrated work experience in the following areas: Employee relations, recruiting, training, performance management and compensation.
Experience working as an individual contributor as well as an active participant in team projects.
Must be detail oriented, with ability to set priorities and multi-task.
High tech experience preferred.
