Position Summary

Analytics R&D group in F5 Networks is looking for a software engineer to join the development of analytics services.

F5 Networks is the leader of Application Delivery Control products in the world. The Analytics team is taking care of the infrastructure and application of statistical reporting and analysis of F5 products.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Hands-on development in Java. Building both end-user products and automation tests.
  • Take significant part in building of core functionality for our analytics services.
  • Take part in system DevOps.
  • Handle production issues and ad hoc issues at customers.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Solid experience building products in Java.
  • Strong analytical thinking, able to handle complex algorithms and be independent in providing solutions.
  • Initiative, self-motivated, gets-things-done attitude.
  • Has good interpersonal skills, loves to work with other people, share ideas and learn.
  • DevOps experience - major advantage.
  • Experience with BIG-DATA - an advantage.
  • Used to work in Agile methodologies, performing tasks E2E - an advantage.


Qualifications

Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of software engineering experience with a Bachelor's degree; Or equivalent experience.
