Inside Sales Account Manager - Global Services

Position Summary

The Inside Sales Account Manager in Global Services (GS) is responsible for increasing the Professional Services Revenue for the assigned accounts and region per the assigned quota. This includes proactively contacting existing customers' maintenance renewal opportunities and building positive relationships with F5 Channel and Distribution partners. This role will require demonstrated previous relevant renewals account management experience and familiarity with the Channel model.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Contact renewal opportunities within assigned territory and drive to closure. This involves building positive working relationships with F5 Distributors, F5 Partners, End Users and the product Outside/Inside sales teams within assigned territories.
  • Administrative duties include but are not limited to: validating renewal opportunities, quoting contracts within Oracle, updating CRM with accurate data, activities and tasks, receiving and verifying purchase orders, order entry/booking orders, running reports, and additional account maintenance as required.
  • Closing Sales while meeting/exceeding sales goals.
  • Responsible for upholding F5's Business Code of Ethics and for promptly reporting violations of the Code or other company policies.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • BS/BA Degree preferred or equivalent relevant work experience
  • Demonstrated experience selling services/interfacing with large enterprise account customers and Channel Partners.
  • Familiarity with high volume of transactions and also working with complex accounts
  • Previous experience with quota-bearing sales role
  • Knowledge of quoting and bid presentation.
  • Extremely detail oriented.
  • Must be able to organize time effectively. Prioritization is key.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel).
  • Additional systems experience a plus: Oracle, Siebel, Salesforce
  • These roles are part of an EMEA team and fluency in at least one of the following languages (in addition to English) are required: French or German.

Physical Demands and Work Environment
  • Duties are performed in a normal office environment while sitting at a desk or computer table.
  • Duties require the ability to utilize a computer, communicate over the telephone, and read printed material.
  • Duties may require working outside normal working hours (evenings and weekends) including the possibility of working a Sunday to Thursday working week to support our Middle East business.
