The Executive Assistant provides administrative support of a highly complex and responsible nature to the GM. You will collaborate with high-level internal/external contacts requiring considerable discretion and initiative. Your ability act with discernment and dedication on behalf of this executive will make us successful.
As a trusted partner of the GM you will be privy to a lot of confidential information. You will need to handle that information with integrity.
You will get the right people to the right places at the right times by controlling schedules for meetings, arranging appointments, welcoming visitors, maintaining calendars and planning travel.
You may mentor other assistants, coordinators and others throughout the company, sharing knowledge, resources, and experience. We love to learn from each other.
We expect your work and interactions to reflect well on F5 in style and philosophy.
You will own or support special projects (local and/or global) as needed and have all sorts of other duties that vary in methods, procedures, and standards.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Have supported a Sr. Executive at a mid-size or larger company? The skills you'll need here will be similar.
- Advanced skills in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint. (Access a plus).
- Initiative and independent decision-making to be able handle routine work with minimal direction.
- Complete tasks with little to no instruction. Lead projects. Improve processes. Get stuff done.
- Get the details right. Be flexible, and conscientious.
- Highly organized
- 5+ years of experience in the administrative field
- Minimum two-year degree preferred
- High-tech background a plus.
