Position Summary:

Would you like to own driving revenue and customer engagements for a leader in Application Performance, Application Security and Orchestration? Do you have a passion for cloud solutions with Financial Services customers? Would you like to be part of a rapidly growing team focused on increasing adoption of F5 application services for cloud by engaging with Enterprise organizations?

Enterprise organizations are rapidly adopting and migrating applications to cloud as part of their IT strategies. F5 is uniquely positioned to help them with application migration, Security, and performance of new applications built using native cloud services. Do you have the sales experience, technical background, and customer relationships to help F5 grow their cloud business? Do you have experience working with the 3 major Public Cloud Providers?

As a Cloud Solutions Manager, you will have the exciting opportunity to help shape and deliver on a strategy that focuses on customer outcomes, building mind share and driving use of F5's applications services and migrations tools to support their mission.

The Cloud Solutions Manager will be a strong analytical thinker who thrives in fast-paced environments, has a strong technical aptitude, and can build/own a plan to achieve the right outcomes. She/he should be a self-starter who is prepared to develop and execute a geographic account coverage plan with aggressive revenue targets. A background that includes strategic engagement within the mission areas at the CxO level and with IT leadership and architects, will be critical to success.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Drive revenue and market share in a defined territory and within the industry vertical.
  • Meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets.
  • Develop and execute against a comprehensive account/territory plan.
  • Create & articulate compelling value propositions around F5 application services specific to cloud.
  • Accelerate customer adoption.
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline.
  • Work with partners to extend reach & drive adoption.
  • Manage contract negotiations.
  • Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts.
  • Define strategy to exceed revenue targets and grow cloud account base
  • Engage with C-level relationships, ensure customer satisfaction, accelerate technology adoption
  • Leverage existing customer and partner eco-system to drive growth
  • Manage and progress sales pipeline and forecast accurately
  • Establish executive partner relationships to encourage joint selling opportunities
  • Responsible for upholding F5's Business Code of Ethics and for promptly reporting violations of the Code or other company policies.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • 8+ years' experience with outside technology related sales or technical business development experience
  • 3+ years' experience working extensively in the Cloud or MS/Hosted market
  • BA/BS degree preferred or equivalent work experience


Physical Demands and Work Environment
  • Job may be performed on-site at a customer facility or data center, or in an office environment sitting at a desk or computer table
  • Duties require the ability to utilize a computer, communicate over the telephone, and read printed material
  • Duties may require being on call periodically and working outside normal working hours (evenings and weekends)
  • Duties require the ability to travel up to 50% via automobile and airplane, and may require being on call periodically and working outside normal working hours (evenings and weekends)
