You will be part of a rapidly growing team focused on increasing adoption of F5 application services for cloud by engaging with Enterprise organizations looking to consume SaaS as their primary software consumption model.

Enterprise organizations are rapidly adopting and migrating applications to cloud as part of their IT strategies. F5 is uniquely positioned to help them with application migration, Security, and performance of new applications built using native cloud services. Do you have the sales, technical background, business development and customer experience to help F5 grow their cloud SaaS business?

As a Cloud Services Lead focused on our SaaS Platform, you will have the exciting opportunity to help shape and deliver on a strategy that focuses on customer outcomes, building mind share and driving use of F5's applications services and migrations tools to support customer use of AWS, Azure, GCP and more. The Cloud Services Lead will be a strong analytical thinker who thrives in fast-paced environments, has a strong technical aptitude, and can build/own a plan to achieve the right outcomes. She/he should be a self-starter who is prepared to develop and execute a geographic account coverage plan with aggressive growth targets. A background that includes strategic engagement within the mission of IT leadership and cloud architects will be critical to success. As will knowledge of SaaS business models, consumption and customer adoption cycles. You will work across F5 business units and stakeholders including Product, Marketing, Solution Architects, and Sales Operations, while working with cloud providers and partners to grow customer adoption.

Roles & Business:

  • Drive revenue and market share in a defined geography
  • Meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets.
  • Develop and execute against a comprehensive business plan.
  • Create & articulate compelling value propositions around F5 application services specific to SaaS.
  • Accelerate customer adoption.
  • Work with partners to extend reach & drive adoption.
  • Manage contract negotiations.
  • Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts.
  • Expect moderate travel.

Basic qualifications
  • 8+ years experience of SaaS related sales or technical business development experience.
  • 7+ years supporting executives both verbally and written skills
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience


Preferred qualifications
  • Define strategy to exceed revenue targets and grow cloud account base
  • Engage with C-level relationships, ensure customer satisfaction, accelerate technology adoption
  • Leverage existing customer and partner eco-system to drive growth
  • Manage and progress sales pipeline and forecast accurately
  • Establish executive partner relationships to encourage joint selling opportunities
  • Lead contract negotiations
  • Demonstrated effectiveness working across multiple business units to achieve results
  • Experience communicating effectively across internal and external organizations
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
