You will work across the enterprise to enable and support strategic digital transformation initiatives through Core Data Management (CDM) solutions. You will serve as a primary contact for questions related to how CDM-related systems work from business and technical perspectives.

You will support business operations by resolving production issues and addressing work requests. You will partner with business liaisons to translate software requirements into technical specifications and with software developers and QA analysts to develop logical user documentation and designs.

You should have extensive knowledge of Core Data Management as well as Informatica MDM and IDQ. Good communication, problem-solving and critical thinking skills are required.

Primary Responsibilities

Release / Project Support (60% of time)

  • Translate business requirements into robust functional requirements (user stories)
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure clear understanding of requirements.
  • Provide systems impact analysis and work estimates.
  • Own, coordinate and execute unit testing, integration testing and UAT.
  • Craft systems implementation, rollout, and user adoption plans including internal and external users.
Production Support (20% of time)
  • Follow our incident management processes, monitor incoming production support ticket queues, resolve modest to high complexity tickets, and assign tickets to analysts, as needed.
  • Research and resolve ongoing application/data issues in production while working to improve incident management processes.
  • Partner with development team(s) to identify, test and deploy recommended fixes/patches.
  • Work to identify and resolve high-impact underlying system issues.
Application Expertise (20% of time)
  • Work with users to understand potentially problematic and deeply complex application requirements in order to design, document and deploy configurations, improvements and integrated solutions that meet F5 business needs.
  • Develop systems diagrams including multi-functional system designs and interfaces. Present overviews to functional and technical audiences to gain consensus and understanding.
  • Focus on Core Data Management and data quality related applications.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Communication, planning, problem solving, troubleshooting, and organizational skills.
  • Proven work experience in business and systems analysis, process, and data modeling skills.
  • Experience working on a team and leveraging Agile development methodologies
  • Passionate about data, its value and usage
  • Experience with Core Data Management, also referred to as Master Data Management in job market (MDM).
  • Hands-on experience with Informatica IDQ, Informatica MDM and Oracle SQL.
  • Superb communication, planning, problem solving, and trouble-shooting skills.
  • Experience in Customer Data management in CRM and ERP systems

  • BS/BA degree in computer science, information systems, or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of working experience as a Business Systems Analyst or equivalent
  • 2-4 years of experience on Data Engineering, IDQ or MDM projects

Physical Demands and Work Environment
  • Duties are performed in a normal office environment while sitting at a desk or computer table.
  • Duties require the ability to utilize a computer, communicate over the telephone, and read printed material.
  • Duties may require being on call periodically or working outside normal working hours (evenings and weekends). Duties may require the ability to travel via automobile or airplane, approximately 5% of the time spent traveling.
  • Job may be performed on-site at a customer facility or data center, or in an office environment sitting at a desk or computer table.
