The F5 Digital Sales organization is a newly formed global sales organization with an opportunity to be a tremendous revenue growth engine for the company. The F5 solution, now combined with NGINX and Shape Security bridges the gap between NetOps and DevOps with multi-cloud application services that span from code to customer. This role is part of an exciting new team that is at the forefront of establishing cutting-edge opportunistic sales motions leveraging AI, digital marketing, big data and analytics to drive impactful demand response and targeted sales coverage.

The F5 Multi-Cloud Application Services Platform enables enterprises undergoing digital transformation to modernize legacy, monolithic applications, as well as deliver new, microservices-based applications. Companies like Netflix, Starbucks, and McDonalds rely on F5 Networks to reduce costs, improve resiliency, and speed innovation.

F5 Networks is searching for an enthusiastic, eager-to-learn Business Development Representative (BDR) to join the growing sales team in Singapore. If you are an early aspirant in your sales career or looking to work in a fast paced dynamic work environment, F5 is the perfect place for you!

This position requires previous experience with prospecting within greenfield accounts (acquiring new logos). BDR candidates during the interview should not only be able to demonstrate the ability to comprehend F5 Solutions, but also the ability to pitch this effectively to new customers. They will also be expected to articulate how they would be creative and thoughtful in their approach to solicit a response from prospects. This position is an in-office role that requires working from the F5 office in Singapore.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule highly qualified meetings from inbound and outbound campaigns within target accounts for territory sales
  • Leverage prospecting tools such as Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and outbound calling techniques to schedule meetings with identified target accounts
  • Collaborate with marketing, field sales, and product teams to facilitate new programs, messaging, campaigns, and offerings
  • Ensure inbound requests and opportunity handoffs to sales are successful and exceed the customer's satisfaction
  • Ensure reporting and communications are frequent and bi-directional
  • Exhibit qualities of overachievement, self-motivation, good teamwork, and positive attitude
  • Meet and exceed minimum activity metrics: 50 Dials, 10 conversations, and 50 emails per day


Qualifications
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience
  • Min 2 years of sales prospecting experience through social media, cold callings, emails and writing qualification notes
  • Familiarity with Salesforce CRM tool and LinkedIn Sales Navigator is a plus
  • Previous experience with technology companies selling SaaS, IaaS, or PaaS is a plus
  • Fluency in English and one additional regional language

Physical Demands and Work Environment
  • Duties are performed in a normal office environment while sitting at a desk or computer table.
  • Duties require the ability to utilize a computer, communicate over the telephone, and read printed material.
  • Duties may require the ability to travel via automobile or airplane, not exceeding 10% of the time spent traveling.
