Exelon (subsidiaries Pepco, Delmarva Power and Atlantic City Electric) is currently seeking highly motivated students for internships - full time in the summer and part-time in the fall and spring (during the school year). Exelon is currently seeking Legal Interns to join the Legal Services staff in Newark, DE.
As a Legal Intern, you will assume immediate responsibility for researching legal issues to support our attorneys, writing memos, briefs, and motions; assisting with discovery and filings with various courts and/or agencies. You will have the opportunity to learn about many different areas of law by working with attorneys in a variety of practice areas.
We are seeking students who meet the following criteria:
• Currently enrolled in either day or night Law School.
• Completed first year of Law School if attending school during the day or 3 semesters if attending night school.
• Grade Point Average of 2.8 or higher on a 4.0 scale
Majors include: Juris Doctor
Positions are based in:
Candidates must be able to work full time during the summer months (40 hours per week)
Part time hours during the Fall and Spring 2020-2021 (approximately 20 hours per week)
