Metrology Intern

Summary of Major Responsibilities

The Metrology Intern will assist in the design and building of Metrology’s collaborative  webpage.  The position is intended to be a full-time opportunity for an engineering or science undergraduate to obtain hands-on software design experience in working with Jira and Confluence while contributing to designing a tool for the Metrology team to collaborate and share knowledge efficiently. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Capture troubleshooting codes and possible solutions
  • Design and organize content within Confluence
  • Help design a knowledge base to assist with equipment troubleshooting
  • Uphold company mission and values through accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, and teamwork
  • Support and comply with the company’s Quality Management System policies and procedures
  • Regular and reliable attendance

Physical Requirements

  • May be required to lift up to 25lbs on an infrequent basis up to 20% of the time

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Enrollment towards Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science or IT/Computer Sciences in junior or senior standing
  • Preference giving to candidates with a record of outstanding academic achievement
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • Demonstrated ability to perform the Essential Duties of the position with or without accommodation

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3.5 GPA or higher
