Media Specialist, Fitness

Summary of Major Responsibilities

The Media Specialist is responsible for supporting the outreach initiatives of the Exact Sciences Wellness, Engagement, and Experience team through video and visual media production and digital marketing campaigns. This position will support wellness, engagement, and events projects to ensure business objectives related to engagement and impact are met.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist with creating, recording, and editing on-demand wellness content; including, but not limited to, fitness and cooking classes.
  • Support the design and implementation of live and pre-recorded wellness projects; including, but not limited to, company-wide challenges, lunch and learn presentations, and team wellness experiences.
  • Support the marketing and promotion of wellness offerings through use of graphic design and animation platforms.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives through monthly and quarterly video and photo sessions.
  • Coordinate food photography sessions to support seasonal menu rotation.
  • Assist with signage and other marketing materials for internal and external events.
  • Assist with implementing communication and engagement strategies in alignment with business goals and for target audience.
  • Ability to consistently perform well during times of increased workload.
  • Ability to set and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain confidential documents and information.
  • Uphold company mission and values through accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, and teamwork.
  • Support and comply with the company’s Quality Management System policies and procedures.
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
  • Ability to work designated schedule.
  • Ability to work nights and/or weekends, as needed.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds for approximately 5% of a typical working day.
  • Ability to work on a mobile device, tablet, or in front of a computer screen and/or perform typing for approximately 90% of a typical working day.
  • Ability and means to travel between Madison locations.
  • Ability to travel 5% of working time away from work location, may include overnight/weekend travel.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associates Degree in Digital Media, Marketing, Communications, or related field as outlined in the essential duties; or High School Degree/General Education Diploma and 2 years of relevant experience as outlined in the essential duties in lieu of Associate Degree.
  • 3+ years of experience producing digital media content.
  • Professional working knowledge with Adobe Creative Suite or other video and digital media editing software.
  • Proficient in photo, video, and audio equipment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform the Essential Duties of the position with or without accommodation.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficient in Adobe After Effects and Adobe Animate.
