Android Engineer - Everyday Health

You will be working on an application built in Java and Kotlin for Android, and working closely with cross functional teams including product, design, data engineering and backend to make software design decisions that impact millions of users around the world.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product, Design, QA, and backend team to develop new features and maintain existing features of an app used by millions of moms around the world.
• contribute the full mobile development cycle including design, development, QA and deploy.
• Improve key metrics of the app including crash-free rate, performance.
• Experience with developing at least one application in Google Play.

Job Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience Android development using Java/Kotlin
• Solid understanding of design patterns including MVC, MVVM, etc.
• Experience with integrating backend services.
• Experience with working in a collaborative team environment with cross functional teams.
• Comfortable working in all areas of Android development ranging from building UI components to foundation modules.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Problem solving skills
