THE TEAM
There are a lot of exciting things going on behind the scenes at Eventbrite. Our continued global growth has led to building out a best in class Accounting and Payroll team.  Our team spans two distinct functions: the AP group ensures our people, vendors, and commissions are taken care of, while our compliance and revenue team is responsible for closing the books, reporting, and preparing to help take the company to the next stage. We’re looking to add core members to our small and growing Payroll team to join us as we continue to scale the company.  Meet some of the Accounting Team.

THE ROLE
We are seeking a Senior Payroll Administrator to join our US-based Payroll team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing all payroll-related activities. We strive to provide a best in career experience for our Britelings, and compensating them correctly and on time is imperative! Your role is to ensure the timely and accurate processing of all payrolls. In addition you have the opportunity to oversee: funding of 401k, benefits and taxes; ad hoc reporting and Finance support, and more!

YOU WILL

  • Ensure the accurate and timely payroll processing in Workday for approximately 300+ US employees, which includes both salaried and hourly (timesheets)
  • Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing in ADP Streamline for approximately 25+ Australia employees
  • Ensure accurate withholding and submission of payroll taxes and other deductions using WD payroll
  • Meets all government reporting requirements, regulation and compliance for payroll taxes, withholding and employer contributions
  • Assist employees to resolve issues relating to Workday and other payroll inquiries in a timely manner
  • Assist with payroll accounting journal-entries and perform monthly payroll-account reconciliations
  • Familiar with incorporating income and tax impact of equity transactions within payroll
  • Special projects, ad-hoc reports as needed

THE SKILL SET

  • 5+ years multi-state payroll experience
  • Regulatory payroll knowledge
  • Detail oriented with strong analytical, written and oral communication skills
  • Good payroll auditing techniques via reports and experience
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills
  • Proven ability to listen attentively, adhere to tight-deadlines, multi-task, maintain confidentiality and adhere to company standard of ethics.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Ability to interface with all levels of the organization
  • Associate degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Management (or equivalent experience)

BONUS POINTS

  • CPP or similar payroll certification preferred
  • Workday Payroll Experience
  • HR Benefits Experience
  • Payroll Accounting experience
