Senior Backend Engineer

The Challenge
Eventbrite operates one of the largest payment platforms in the world. In addition, the Eventbrite platform facilitates communication between organizers and their attendees, sending millions of messages per month. A successful Risk & Fraud engineer has a singular goal: to accurately stop fraud and spam in a way that is frictionless to the end user while scaling both technically and operationally.

The Team
The Risk & Fraud team at Eventbrite builds and maintains services and tools for a number of business-critical functions including protecting Eventbrite from financial loss, unsavory user-generated content, marketplace collusion, account takeover and other types of malicious behavior.
