Global Stock Administrator

THE ROLE
As a member of the Treasury team, you're always looking for innovative ways to protect Eventbrite’s balance sheet, optimize liquidity, manage risk, and partner with stakeholders to administer various programs. As Eventbrite’s Global Stock Administrator, you will have responsibility for ensuring seamless administration of Eventbrite’s global equity plan, and will work cross functionally to maintain stock related systems and processes. Candidate should have excellent problem solving and communication skills, partner with external plan administrators and be willing to act as a proactive resource for plan participants at all levels of the organization.  

YOU WILL

  • Manage all aspects of global equity programs
  • Maintain data (e.g. new hires, terminations, etc) in the equity system
  • Manage all participant equity plan transactions (grants, exercises, forfeitures etc) and ensure that they are correctly processed in a timely manner.
  • Partner with internal departments to address any issues or changes to the equity plans and related administrative process
  • Work with Finance, Tax, and Audit for quarterly reviews, year-end audits, as well as ensuring that tight internal controls are in place and procedures are followed to satisfy periodic review of compliance with effective internal controls
  • Act as an Equity Administration resource to participants
  • Provide superior customer service to equity participants at all levels
  • Reconcile cash and shares related to stock plan transactions on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis with Finance, including audit of plan reserve balances
  • Partner with stakeholders to execute US and international corporate entity maintenance including coordination of corporate filings and internal recordkeeping
  • Stay up to date on changes in laws that impact our equity plans and partner with the legal team to recommend changes in practice
  • Provide company-wide training for participants on a global scale. 
  • Determine stock value to be used for withholding and reporting (to determine FMV of award at exercise) and stock value to be used for net settle or STC calcs., if different
  • Employee Education – develop training tools, consider different content and language needs, consider need for in-person office training/presentation/recurring “office hours”
  • Define process w/ E*TRADE for obtaining stock option exercise information (which will now be EE initiated transaction and thus unpredictable) 

THE SKILL SET

  • 5+ years’ experience of increasing responsibility in Stock Plan Administration
  • College degree with a BS/BA  
  • E*TRADE’s Equity Edge Online experience
  • Experience in an IPO/public company environment highly desirable
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and Google Docs
  • Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong work ethic and sense of professionalism and discretion, demonstrating accountability, integrity, and respect for confidentiality
  • Precision/detail oriented with strong analytical skills
  • Trustworthy, positive, energetic, optimistic attitude with a willingness to roll up your sleeves
