Senior Legal Project Coordinator

TRADE is looking for a highly motivated Associate with Project Management training and experience to join the dynamic Corporate Legal Team at ETRADE. The Candidate will not only serve as the driver of communication and organization of all Corporate Legal projects, with a heavy emphasis on Board governance, but will also have the opportunity to interact with the public company board of directors and C-Suite on a regular basis. From relaying project statuses across departments and levels to facilitating meetings and developing project plans, this role is an integral part of the legal team. This position is also potential successor role to the Chief of Staff to the General Counsel and over time will be cross-trained with this in mind.


Create and track project plans and calendars to meet changing requirements
Provide direction and communicate responsibilities to managers and peers, to ensure tasks are completed on schedule
Ensuring projects are being documented appropriately to mitigate risk and to be delivered on time
Leveraging problem solving and influencing skills to ensure project plans deliver on intent
Partnering cross-functionally across company to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership to effectively drive project delivery

Board Reporting

Manage the compilation, tracking and distribution of board meeting materials
Maintain checklists and deliverable timelines for meeting materials
Review and revise presentations for meeting materials
Track board attendance, education matters, follow-ups and post board management actions
Manage director orientation and onboarding logistics and materials
Manage secure platform for maintenance of board materials

Corporate Governance

Manage presentation preparation and due dates for General Counsel and Corporate Legal Team
Manage the Annual Stockholder Meeting process
Respond to Internal and External Audit and Regulatory requests, as needed



Bachelor's Degree
At least 3 Years of Project Management experience
Detail-oriented with strong time management skills
Exceptional communication (both oral and written) and collaboration skills
Excellent problem solving and influencing skills
Experience creating Power Point presentations


At least 5 years of Project Management experience
At least 2 years of People Management experience
PMP, Lean or Agile certification
