TRADE'S Corporate Services is the leader in equity compensation administration for public and private corporations driving retail brokerage accounts and assets for ETRADE Financial Corporation. We execute on this objective by providing a best-in-class administration platform, service excellence through our service delivery model, and a robust participant experience to integrate equity awards into an overall financial picture.

The Senior Risk Manager will be a highly motivated, consultative-minded individual with knowledge and experience within financial services, specifically, in Auditing, Risk and/or Governance. This key role will assist Leadership with cultivating the Risk and Governance culture across E
TRADE Financial Corporate Services group (ETCS). As part of the first line of defense, the Senior Manager is responsible for leading multiple projects designed to evaluate and reduce the overall risk profile of ETCS. Additionally, the successful candidate will educate and train all levels of staff and business associates about the risk management program and their respective responsibilities in carrying out program provisions.

This advanced professional role requires high skill with extensive proficiency while operating with openness to continuous improvement and change, both organizationally and functionally.

Responsibilities:

  • Process controls design and implementation
  • Internal Control design and testing
  • Risk and issue identification, including root cause analysis
  • Process and Controls testing
  • SOC 1 & 2 examination an project management
  • Facilitate operational risk workshops to proactively identify and assess risk.
  • Risk committee documentation and reporting
  • Policies and Procedures documentation including processing mapping
  • Promote employee awareness of the Risk Management program.


REQUIREMENTS

Basic
  • A minimum of 3-5 years' industry (Audit, Risk Management) experience. Prior Big 4 experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Risk Management or related field
  • Strong COSO knowledge and application

Preferred
  • Experience with 1 st Line, 2 nd Line, 3 rd Line Enterprise Risk Management Model (preferred)
  • Proven ability to build strong partnerships with key stakeholders.
  • Professional self-starter
  • Excellence in execution.
  • Candid and courageous.
  • Proficiency with computer platforms and applications
  • CPA, CIA, CISA or other Risk Certifications, a plus
