Operations Analyst - Retirement Plans

The Analyst, Account Services Operations role is a part of strategic Global Operations and will have an emphasis on the review of client documents including the technical requirements for retirement plans. Analytical oversite of daily workflow for accuracy from operations areas is a daily requirement.


  • Supports all team functions to meet Service Level Agreements
  • Reviews legislative updates, identifies improvements and suggests changes to processes and procedures
  • Is functionally trained to back-up all team members as needed
  • Identifies and escalates operational emergencies and discrepancies to management
  • Participates in department and company initiatives
  • Reviews legal documentation received for client accounts to determine validity, accuracy and to assist with the resolution of inquiries.
  • Generates reviews and analyzes various reports to ensure accuracy & compliance with regard to account transactions
  • Assists in resolving client issues involving distributions, legal documentation and BSA/AML issues.
  • Supports the ETAS AML/BSA/OFAC and CIP programs including monitoring for, responding to, researching, and reporting suspicious activity, incidents and individuals
  • Researches, documents and files EDD reports for ETAS clients and advisors


  • 3+ years of back office operational experience, preferably in the financial banking industry
  • 3+ years of experience with rules and regulations governing bank and brokerage
  • 3+ years of experience with IRS regulations governing retirement plans

  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills including ability to research, schedule, analyze and present findings
  • Proven organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Access, etc.)
  • Must be a dynamic and self-starting individual, able to work independently or as part of a team
