Product Marketing Specialist - Digital Sales Channel

Overview

Be responsible for marketing and cross-promoting Esri and partner products and services on the Marketplace and Esri Store. The Marketplace is the access point for Esri customers to be introduced to partner offerings and services that work seamlessly with the ArcGIS platform, while the Esri Store is our digital space for purchasing ArcGIS products we create.

 

In this role, you'll collaborate with the Esri partner team, product management, product marketers, development, and sales to create and execute campaigns and outbound communication, including messaging, product launches, and go-to-market strategies. To execute your plans, you will partner with other marketing and sales professionals focused on content creation, web design, PR, advertising, and events.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Own the digital marketing strategy and be comfortable leveraging multiple channels to drive demand for Esri and partner digital sales opportunities
  • Create messaging briefs that identify problems and solutions, to include product positioning and value propositions; identify user and buyer personas
  • Initiate marketing campaigns to help increase awareness, demand, and adoption by establishing success criteria, tracking success, and proposing alternative courses of actions, as needed
  • Participate in strategic discussion with product management, development, and other marketing teams to establish go-to-market strategies and execute on campaigns, especially for new and upcoming digital-first products
  • Build and execute new marketing campaigns to increase the depth of partner and distributor participation in the Marketplace
  • Develop digital marketing content such as case studies, web, social, videos, blogs, and demos
  • Provide internal messaging and sales enablement materials to help sales channels succeed
  • Work closely with the sales development and inside sales teams in GBD for a seamless customer experience

Requirements

  • 2+ years of SaaS product, high-tech, or solutions marketing experience, with a proven track record driving deeper engagement with target audiences, increasing adoption, and delivering bottom-line results
  • Excellent storytelling and influencing skills with the ability to develop compelling product positioning and messaging that differentiates Esri’s products in the market
  • Able to work with cross-functional teams and hold your own in discussions with engineers while also distilling complex concepts into a format everyone can understand and evangelize
  • Global/multi-product mindset: experience developing, prioritizing, and promoting multiple products/product lines simultaneously, spanning multiple audiences, industries, and international markets
  • Bachelor’s or master’s in marketing, business, or related field

Recommended Qualifications:

  • Geospatial industry knowledge
  • Multi-channel marketing experience
  • Proficient in data analysis (Adobe Analytics)
