Product Engineer - Writer

Overview

Do you have a passion for writing engaging and approachable content about field operations? The ArcGIS geospatial cloud writing team is looking for an experienced, creative, and hard-working writer to create lessons, blog articles, user guides, learning paths, and help documentation for field apps. You will work closely with teams across Esri to build first, best experiences for our users.

Requirements

  • Writing samples or a portfolio link included with your application
  • Knowledge of Esri products and the ArcGIS platform
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong ability to translate complex concepts into clear, concise, compelling, customer-centric copy and content for digital channels
  • Energetic mindset with the talent to produce multiple options fast, under pressure, and within specifications
  • Bachelor’s or master's in GIS, computer science, journalism, English, or related field, depending on position level
